Our vision about using programs
Our programs are made for working user friendly under Windows.
The term "user friendly" according our vision is: "applications must be self explaining to users witch are competent regarding the theoretical background".
A software program should not be a “Black Box”; the user has to know what happens between input and result. In our opinion a competent users must be able produce good results successfully using a program after a short training with some samples and supported by on good in line help.
Necessary Long studies of paper manuals are another way to make programs useless. ASC programs are supported by help files in the form of web documents. They are available from the menu and for licensed users up to date online help via internet is available
The most fantastic software is as good as worthless without a good user interface. Building user interfaces will cause a large part of the costs of a programme, but you should earn back more than these costs. Also developers have to realize that the border for users between a “fantastic” and “totally worthless” program is very small!

Development tools
By making new Window versions higher than XP a lot of special software can not be used any longer in these higher versions. The reason are the user interfaces depending on Windows tools but generally not the parts of a program specially made to solve a certain problem.
Due to costs the gross of developers is not able to convert program's always again to Microsoft’s changes of operating systems and there is used a lot of sophisticated software working good under Windows XP. For all small developers are the victims. Most of them did not plan an upgrade to windows 7, 8 or 10. What brings the future??
This is also a problem for ASC but we found a solution independent from Microsoft tools by using Simply Fortran with AppGraphics developed by Approximatrix. There is a very good user support, the graphic interface simple and these tools will be so good as “save” against “future-surprises” from Microsoft.
